Dear Friend,
I am Cindy Goforth. I am a mom of two boys (Charles and Jonathan) and a wife to the love of my life, David. I am an engineer, a project manager and someone that is programmed from birth to enjoy learning, take myself for granted and put people first. I am a native Charlottean and I love Charlotte, NC. I am an only child to Dillon and Sandra. I love my family, food and I despirately want to be skinny. Not size 6 skinny like when I married. (That ship has sailed) But, I want to be healthy, not have to worry about High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol or an evil photographer at the beach. In short, I wanna be a cool mom that doesn't show up in mom jeans. I want to know my grandkids and I want to be healthy enough to eat a cupcake (explains the caption) and my health not be in question.
I wanted to have this page to assure you that I am just like you in many ways. Weight just crept up on me one day when I was not looking. It came as I lost my 20-20 eyesight and it was gradual. You know the kid of gradual where you add a few pounds here and there and with each pound you say, "I gotta get this weight off". But, meal or snack time came around and by then, the words were hollow and the hunger was great so, I ate. I ate and ate and ate.
A few years back David and I joined an exercise routine of 2 times a week and 1 time with yoga. I discovered that while healthy habit, I did not lose weight because I continued to eat poorly. I graised on snacks full of sugar but claiming to be low-fat or fat-free. I cooked with lard (I am southern you know) and I put gravy on things and melted chocolate on others. I ate popcorn with lots of butter. I drank Starbucks Skinny Vanilla Latte and I downed soft drinks. In short, I was a mess and I became short of breath while climbing stairs and I developed a case of insomnia. I realized my life was going to be short as long as I ran on the treadmill of life with active kids and a fulltime job if I did not change life-long habits. Stress was high, sleep was short, calories were massive, exercise was miniscule and I felt crummy most of the time
It was last October when I met a friend for lunch and was introduced to Isagenix. I had heard of it and even entertained going on the system once but, my spirit wasn't willing and my flesh was very weak. Finally, I decided to do this and it worked. I lost weight, I became a better role model for my kids, I cut my bad cholesterol back 45 points and I had something I never had as a caffiene junky: I had ENERGY. I begain sleeping better, having more clarity of mind, I no longer craved caffiene, diet soda and french fries. I cleaned up my act and became someone on a mission to share with my friends and family because both were amazing. I wrote Facebook testimonies and I started cooking cleaner. This journey has been amazing. It has proven that I can do anything and when the chips are down, I would bet on me and my stamina, my abilities and my authenticity!
Feeling so strongly about Isagenix, I decided to jump into the business of promoting it and sharing my experience with others in hopes of getting it into the hands of those that need it. I also am not dummy and realize Isagenix employs people with the same passion and belief in the products. A business opportunity is out there and now that I believe in the effectiveness of the products, I can promote the product and the business.
Isagenix changed my life and that is invaluable. I love the product and wish everyone could experience the product to feel better and live longer.
